A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Community Champions: Black Country Foodbank and Kids Clothes Project
Launching The Goodwill Revolution has been an incredible journey, and we’ve been fortunate to receive unwavering support from some truly remarkable individuals and organisations within our community. Today, we want to extend a special thank you to two local heroes who have gone above and beyond to help us get started: Jen from Black Country Foodbank and Kate from Kids Clothes Project.
These two organisations are already doing such vital work in the Black Country, serving those in need with compassion and dedication. Despite their busy schedules, Jen and Kate generously shared their time, expertise, and guidance, providing invaluable support as we navigated the initial stages of setting up The Goodwill Revolution.
Their insights have been instrumental in shaping our approach. They offered invaluable advice on everything from establishing a robust referral process to crafting clear and comprehensive terms and conditions. They helped us think through the practicalities of how best to serve the Black Country community, drawing on their extensive experience and deep understanding of the local landscape.
We’ve learned so much from Jen and Kate, not just about the logistics of running a community support organisation, but also about the importance of empathy, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to making a difference. They embody the true spirit of community support, and we’re incredibly grateful for their willingness to share their knowledge and passion with us.
Black Country Foodbank and Kids Clothes Project are shining examples of the power of local action. We’re honoured to be part of the same network of organisations working to make the Black Country a better place for everyone. Thank you, Jen and Kate, for your support, and your inspiring dedication to our community. We’re so excited to continue working alongside you as we all strive to serve the Black Country.
