Sometimes, a family’s world can fall apart in an instant. For two teenage brothers from the Black Country, that’s exactly what happened. Just over a year ago, they lost their mum, and then, in a devastating twist of fate, their dad passed away recently, too. Suddenly, they were left in a crisis, their lives turned completely upside down.
Luckily, their school knew about The Goodwill Revolution and reached out to us on behalf of the family. The boys have temporarily moved in with their older sister, who is doing her best to support them while raising her own family. The school told us the family was struggling with the immediate financial strain and could really use a hand with food and everyday essentials.
But as we looked closer, we discovered the boys were in need of much more. With the older brother starting college, it became clear that both boys were severely short on clothes. Their shoes were falling apart, and with winter on its way, they didn’t have appropriate coats to keep them warm.

Thanks to your incredible generosity and kind donations, we were able to act quickly. We provided the family with a £100 Lidl voucher to help with their food shopping. We also gave each of the boys a £150 Primark voucher so they could buy the clothes, shoes, and the warm coats they desperately needed.
This act of kindness, this small bit of hope in a heartbreaking situation, was made possible because of you. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real, tangible difference in the lives of people who need it most.
